my uncle is from ther and he speaks english with a jamiacan sounding accent..I’m not sure if there is some native language though

Question by calljamaica: What is the cheapest way to call Jamaica from the USA?
I’m going on a medical mission to serve the poor in Jamaica in a couple months. I have found calling Jamaica to be very expensive compared to other countries for some reason. I need to speak with people there helping to coordinate our trip and don’t want to go into debt before I get there!
