i was told by a friend the best time to go there is in september, when hurricane season starts because things are much cheaper at that time of year.

hurricane season starts in June. I go to the dominican republic every year at the end of july and for the most part, we have been good. if you are looking for a place to go, i reccommend the ibero star bavario in punta cana. it is gorgeous!

I will be leaving Friday to go to the Dominican Republic for ten days. We are flying into Santo Domingo and have a hotel their for the first night. We plan on getting into our rental and exploring the island. I don’t know much about the Dominican Republic so I am looking for any travel hints, place to go, tips on golfing & good places to eat and stay.

GO ON THE BAVARO RUNNERS EXCURSION! NEVER PAY MORE THAN HALF OF THE MONEY THAT THEY ASK YOU FOR (UNLESS THERE IS A PRICE TAG). CATALONIA BAVARO REASORT IS GREAT! (BUT ITS IN PUNTA CANA! I JUST GOT BACK A WEEK AGO! HOPE YOU HAVE FUN!
