Question by Marc: Question about fitting to a Quintana Roo Kilo Triathlon Bicycle?
Currently I am trying to buy a used Quintana Roo Kilo Triathlon bicycle but I do not know what frame size is appropriate for me. The bike I am looking at has a frame size of 55cm and i have an inseam of between 80-81 cm and I am about 5′ 8″ tall. Could this bike be comfortably fit to me?

it sounds like a yes to me, but i would see if i could take the bike to the LBS and see what they say. that is assuming that you would be getting either a 2D of 3D fit once you bought the bike. then i would get the price of the fit and see if they would knock the price off the price of the bike.

July and August are hot and muggy in Mexico in general. However, Cancun does benefit from the breezes right off the water so it is more pleasant that places inland. You should expect some rain. This is hurricane season as well.

your problem might be the “temporary” aspect. Most people who are hiring (which is very few), will be looking for a long-term committment.

Okay, we’re going on a school trip to Costa Rica in May. It’s supposed to be really humid and in the 70′s and 80′s when we go. I HATE it hot or warm. I love the cold. The thing is, is that in San Jose, CR, there will be a ton of mosquitos. Our teachers suggest that we wear long pants and clothes. But its’ going to be sooo hot and I’ll get really hot and stick which is really annoying.
Any tips on what to wear and stuff like that? Thanks a ton! I wear a lot of jeans in the Fall/Winter/Spring.

It’s the exact same way when I go home to Trinidad and Tobago. Tons and tons of bugs…ewww! I recommend wearing capris so that way most of your legs are covered and I either wore 3/4 sleeve tops or t-shirts. I also recommend that you purchase some really good bug spray. A few bottles because you will be using it a lot. You will enjoy yourself. Don’t forget your mosquito net!
